Yemen’s Houthi Rebels Launch 10 Missiles Towards Saudi Airport

SANAA, Yemen, Aug 26 (NNN-SABA) – Yemen’s Houthi rebels claimed that they fired 10 missiles towards Saudi Arabia’s Jizan airport on Sunday evening, the group’s military spokesman said.

A salvo of 10 Badr-1 ballistic missiles were launched towards Jizan Regional Airport, said Yahya Sarea, in a brief statement.

“The missiles targeted military aircraft and Apache helicopters inside Jizan airport,” he added.

“Dozens of Saudi soldiers were killed and injured during the largest medium-range ballistic missiles attack against the Saudi aggression,” the Houthi spokesman noted.

Sarea also said, the Houthi militia will carry out more missile attacks in the upcoming period.

Meanwhile, the anti-Houthi Saudi-led military coalition said, it intercepted and destroyed six ballistic missiles.
