Islamabad; 01 July 2020 (UMMN): Pakistan’s PM Imran Khan has blamed India for the terrorist attack on the stock exchange building in Karachi.
"There is no doubt that India is behind the attack," Khan said in his address to Parliament on Tuesday.
Four heavily armed gunmen with grenades attacked the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Monday, killing two guards and a policeman before getting killed by the security forces.
According to AlJazeera, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), an armed separatist group from the south western province of Balochistan, claimed responsibility for the attack in a message on Twitter.
Pakistan has regularly blamed India for supporting Baloch separatists who also took responsibility for an attack on the Chinese consulate in Karachi in 2018.
BLA has been officially banned in Pakistan since 2006 and was classified by the United States as a global terrorist group last July.
Delhi has denied the charges.
