Kanpur: A mock drill of traffic diversion was conducted at Bada Chauraha here on Sunday. As many as 24 marshalls were deployed for the 0urpose. It will continue between 4 pm and 8 pm today, inform the Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation officials.
The UP metro rail officials completed it in two separate shifts thereby causing it in the morning and night hours.
The work of the second phase will begin here. An underground metro station will be set up at Bada Chauraha. It will be stretched between Z Square Mall and DCB Bank.
On the crossing and related routes, proper barricading and signages made the commuters pass through the alternate roads.
Recommendations have been requested from the denizens via social medial handles. Those will be analysed for the proper conduct of the diversion scheme.
